2005 corolla CE, driver side airbag light nver turn on

I bought a 2005 corolla CE 10 days ago. I just noticed that the airbag light at the drvier side NEVER turn on, I guess in the normal condition the airbag light should turn ON for several seconds when the key is at "ON" position and then turn OFF
I am afraid the car just had accident before the dealer sold it to me. although I have checked VIN in autocheck. but maybe the recent accident is not recorded.
besides, at the passanger side, the airbag light is always on, somebody tell me it should be like this. since the dealer didnt give me any manual, is there anybody could tell its normal or not?

Where is the light for the drivers side air bag you are talking about?

Some one or something has to be on the seat for the airbag to deploy. If I remember correctly, the weight of the object on the passenger seat has to be over 40 lbs. If you are in an accident and no one is in the passengers seat, then the passenger side airbag will not deploy.

the driver side airbag light, I mean the one on the meter panel together with all other lights(such as check engine, seatbelt, car doors, bettery...), the figure is a circle next to a sitting person

that light should illuminate for a few seconds when they key is in the "on" position but before the car is actually started.

dose this mean there are something wrong with the driver side airbag, it wont deploy at the accident?
Do I need to check my car at toyota dealer?
