2004 Corolla DRL not shutting off - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

This just started the other day. When in the automatic mode, the DRL on my 2004 Corolla will not go off when I turn the car off. I have to turn them off manually. They go on OK (in automatic mode) when I turn the car on. It's just the automatic off that's the problem. Any suggestions/solutions will be appreciated!

What happens to the lights when you pull the e brake when the DRLs do not go off on auto mode?

You won't believe this and I feel a little foolish, but I went out to check what the lights did when I pulled the emerg. brake, and now they work! They went off like they should when I turned the car off. If they stop working again, I'll be back!
