In the S model, the third brake light is in the spoiler.

In my S, there is nothing in the place where there would be a brake light in other models, there is no bulb or a place for a bulb.

Well, apparently my car is a cobbled up pile.Alot of problems with this car.It doesn't have a spoiler...I took the back deck loose and traced the wireing, and found where the wires were disconnected..plugged it up and it works..Then i took the rear pillar covers loose and discovered that the rear defogger was also unplugged.Fixed that.

Now since i got it home:

the check engine light is on

the cruise stopped working

the a/c doesnt blow cold at idle

the car will not shift out of park with out pushing the bypass button.

What a mess.

Thanks for your response though!

Call me crazy, but I bet that these are related, and they also may be related to the wiring. There is some issue with the way the car is sensing braking. The cruise doesn't work, because the computer thinks you are pressing on the brake. It will not shift out of park, because then it thinks you are NOT pressing on the brake. The check engine light is on, because... maybe there is a short in the wiring that you plugged in. Maybe the previous owner disconnected it on purpose for this very reason.

OK, the A/C is probably unrelated, and it may be due to low refrigerant level.
