2006 Corolla CD Player Broken

Anyone know where I can get a Manual or information on how to remove my Radio CD Player?
It shows 6 Disks.

Error 3

and then it shuts off...

Thank You in Advance

Error 3 is Mechanical Malfunction/Jam (Replace CD player.) If it is jammed, you'll just have to pull out the radio and pop the top of the deck off and dislodge the CD or depending how it is jammed, might want to fish it out with a paper clip. Might want to disconnect battery terminals for 1 hr to see if the error pops up and try ejecting again, but it is unlikely. You may never get the CD out.

I have had that same exact problem on my 2005 before. My recommendation is to just drive for a week or two, pressing the eject button every so often. The vibrations from the road may dislodge the CD. It worked in my case.

I too had this issue with a jammed CD in the six disk player on an 05. No need to remove the player to fix. Inserting an old plastic credit card (or similar) into the CD slot and pushing slightly up or down with the card to maneuver the disk tray mechanism back into position of the CD slot, then press the eject button and the disk would eject.

Happened repeatedly on one CD that I no longer use in that player.

Tried the Credit Card in the Slot !

It is making noise inside the CD Player.
Must be a Paper label Jammed in there.

Do you know how many screws or bolts I need to use to
take the unit out?
Know where they are located too?

Thanks that I think will do it..

See the link in post #2 for detailed instructions on removing the radio. There are four bolts holding in the radio, two on top and two on the bottom from what I remember, when I looked at pulling mine (an 05 LE) out. However, I could be wrong as to the bolt locations as I attempted to pull the radio back in 06. The link above seems to indicate the four bolts are under the radio.

ETA: Ooops I was wrong about the locations, they do appear to be on the bottom of the radio. This link has better pictures where the guy circled where the bolts are in one of the pictures of the disasembly process to get at the radio.
