2.4l?

Anybody know why Toyota didn't put their 2.4L engines in the 9th generation corolla's like they did to the Scion tc's? I would think that both of those vehicles have the same platform. Just a thought...

Because they had the 2ZZ-GE which was a better option at the time.

Weighs less and produces more power than the 2AZ.
