General 1ZZ info

So i have an 03 corolla ce 5-speed
it has a 1zzfe as im sure most of you r aware of
im thinking a lil bout mayb puttin in a 2zz from a matrix
or if im feelin ambitious enough a 2az of a tc
or, i kno this is nuts, the 2ar outta of a camry

i live in socal nd i kno i can find the those cars
wrecked at junkyards around here for relatively cheap

ive done some research on wikipedia nd other sides
but they havent really made things easier for me to understand

so my question is what r pros and cons of the 1zz engine in general

nd is it worth it todo the aforementioned swaps

nd lastly on top of the engine and harnesses
nd likely custom fab work for the engine mounts
not to mention ecu work
is there anything else i might need
bsides time nd money. lol

P.S. plz don't tell me to just buy another car
cuz this is my first car nd i plan to keep this until my kids drive
so i was plannin to do some swaps eventually to extend the cars life
wich since it is a toyota is already long on its own
i just hate the idea of runnin my life worryin about car payments

so in short

corolla=

car payments=

You should do some research first on the differences between a regular base model Corolla and the 05-06 Corolla XRS.

With a swap, you'll only be getting the powertrain, but you still won't have something that will perform at the level a stock XRS would.

While it's not what you want to hear, but in the long run will be a cheaper, more viable solution.

Just some food for thought.

The powertrain is wat im interested in at the moment
tho i should mention that is my final step in my plans for my car

i first plan on fixing my cars suspension nd handling to b able to handle any more power
i noticed i need new shocks recently
also i wanna change my brakes to all disc brakes
since the rear r drum brakes
mayb the conversion to all disc brakes is too much to sum ppl
but wit LA traffic the way it is
havin brakes that stop u wen u wanna b stopped is a good investment
not to mention the tires i plan to get......

well at this point im just tryin to gather ideas for an engine swap
i dont wanna jump into something without knowing wat im gettin into

so consider my plans in the development stages rite now
rite now i wanna kno wat everyones opinion on a swap would b

corolla wit a 2zz
corolla wit a 2az
corolla wit a 2ar(hey the new scion is coming out soon, nd i kno sum ppl will crash that car in this city)
or if its better to just keep the 1zz nd work on it to get more outta of it
