Screwed up brake job - 03 corolla - help

Hi there. I have an 03 corolla. I've done pads and rotors all my life. Never have I had this problem. I went to CAP and bought rotors and the best pads they had. Monroes, Lifetime warranty @ 40 bucks.

Now I got everything apart and I put in the new anti-rattle clips and they damn tabs on the pads are too big. They wont fit inside the rattle clips. So I had to use my belt sander and sand down the frign tabs on the pads. I did grease where the pads tabs sit inside the clips but they are tight. I mean real tight. Is this going to be a problem do you think?

Thanks, Kevin

if the pads are too tight then theres a possibility of them dragging on the rotors too much causing premature wear and possible rotor damage.

Yeah I took the POFS all apart again today and went and bought pads @ NAPA which I should have in the first place.

I'd like to take the engineer that designed the monroe pads and shove them down his throat and then pound his f'n brains in with a 5 lb mallet and then burn his god damn house down

I also didn't know, because I'm an idiot and shouldn't be working on cars period that you can take the caliper apart into the 2 pieces and put the pads in a lot easier that way. Frign moron I am. Hate cars. But also hate mechanics.

Thanks
