Pre mix Motorcycle gas put into Corolla

I put 1 gallon of Motorcycle pre-mix fuel into the corolla(2005), it was mixed 40 to 1. The Corolla had 3/4 tank of gas. I drove 2 miles and the car now won't run. Best guess is that the car doesn't like the oil at all.

I pulled the air filter and did a quick shot of either, the car started just fine, so I don't think it's electrical.

Question. Can I unhook a fuel hose and use the pump to get all the gas out? With this I can also check that the pump is working and the filter isn't clogged. I don't have a pressure gauge, but I could buy one, but where is the port to check pump pressure?

I've been reading that the pump and filter are under the seat, but before I pull those I'd just like to know it removing the current gas, then adding new, will solve the problem.

I've burned gas with oil in other autos, but this is the first time in the Corolla(and the last). I had 2 1 gallon cans of gas, one was premixed one not. I didn't do the regular trick of adding a zip tie to the pre mixed can. The oil is Amsoil with no die, so I couldn't tell which one was mixed, hence I dumped them both in the corolla to start over.

What a day, any helpful hints.

Thanks

That ratio is too high, 500 to 1 is more like it. Check out this video who put diesel in her corolla, it may provide help. Replace spark plugs when done.

Interesting reading this post - that the Corolla gas engines dont like oil at all in the fuel. I have a '05 Corolla S - but I also have a 2003 Ford 6.0 Powerstroke Diesel. Every tank in it - I pour 32 ounces of ashless 2-stroke oil + 8 ounces of Diesel Kleen. The 2- stroke oil does wonders for my mileage - increasing mileage 2mpg!

I'll keep this thread in mind if I ever get a desire to increase lubricity of the fuel and know not to do it!

Good luck with your Corolla and thanks for posting.

There are some renewable products that can be added to gas engines to increase lubricity. I used to run Tc w3 but found out the phosphorous in it can ruin the expensive cat if the ratio is not correct.

I just took the CAT off the truck - runs better without it. For that matter - took the entire factory EGR system off too. Really started to run better when I did that! Less smoke, cooler EGT's and more power and mileage.
