Newly installed aftermarket speakers

Hey guys

I finished installing Pioneer speakers in to my 05 corolla S. I noticed that the sound is not as good as the stock speakers. There isnt much bass and the volume doesn't seem as loud as the stocks. I doubled checked the wires and there fine, could there be something wrong?

The speaks in my corolla have the tweeter so i left that in.

Below are the speakers i installed.

Your stock speakers take little to no wattage to power to produce sound (which is fine if your running a stock head unit). I think that phat is trying to find out if your under powering the new speakers with the stock head unit.

Sometimes those stock speakers have some weird resistance values. The stock head units are mated to them and if you left part in they may not be putting the correct load on the amp in the stereo. I think this was discussed in the stereo forum before on someone Else's install you might search in that section.
