fuse location

Was looking for the fuse location for my gauge cluster and the one for the acc cig lighter under the armrest.

I looked under the hood in the fuse panel but did not see anything close to what it would be labeled as.

My cig lighter (by the gear shifter) still works fine just the other one is not working...I have been trying to figure out were the fuses might be located and where they might be labeled i checked the connection for the armrest acc. plug and it seemed to be snug as well.

I went under the steering wheel into that fuse box to try to find cluster gauge lights however i came up empty as well on something that looked like it would be labeled under.

I even went as far as doing some random pulling and checking under the steering wheel fuse panel (just looking for any popped fuses) but i came up empty handed.

Would love any help or info anyone has...

Thanks,

B

Cluster fuse is 15 or 29 cig fuse is 21 or 28. Those fuses are under the steering wheel. Print out that diagram and take it your car.

Went and replaced the fuses same ones i tried trouble shooting last night as well however, even with pulling them and buying new fuses to replace them all with i sill had no luck..I checked the bulbs and were they plug into (a/c light) and i am not getting anything with my circuit tester.

The acc. cig. lighter under the armrest is the same way as the cluster lights. Pulled the fuse replaced with a new one used the circuit tester to make sure it was working and it is still not working as well.

Do you know if it has a inline fuse or if it might be another issue?

Everything i am seeing and testing for at the moment points to it being a fuse blown but i can not find the fuse that is blown. I have even been looking for melted wires as well but even with tracing the wires back i am not finding anything.

Did you happen to jump or get your battery jumped recently or add HIDs or disable the DRLs? Any other lights not working in the car, inside and out? Dont forget to check the shifter bulb, radio, tail lights, and all other interior lights.

There is a p-point relay behind the glove box. http://i27.tinypic.com/6ozl7o.jpg

Check that relay, but that will not help with the gauge lights.

The a/c lights that turn on behind in order to light up the indicators on the a/c and recirculating switch as well as the lights behind the speedometer and cluster all are not working at the moment.

Have not got a jumped or messed with anything other than replacing the factory bulbs with the leds from superbrightleds.com.

Ill check the relay though as soon as i get a chance although im not sure if it will help or not since given what you said etc..

Thanks for the help man i just can not figure it out been thinking what else i can check etc still coming up empty handed.

Was playing around with the fuses and the power port accessory point under the console.

When i was walking back out to my car to go try to figure it out again i noticed that whenever i hit the unlock button on my car alarm the lights would blink on and off with the head lights like normal.

I am not sure if that makes the issue more pin point-able.

The lights are still not coming on like normal (with the dimmer switch all the way up and the head lights on) but the lights blinking on and off with the car alarm makes me think that it can not be the fuse now.

It is near the right side vent. What happens if you put the "stock" bulbs back in, does the problem still exist? Are they wired correctly and do you need any resistors?

Still does not work even with the stock ones the aftermarket ones came with resisters built in them as well.

Ill go check for the relay and replace it to see if it fixes the problem

If you are having a hard time finding the p point relay, start the car and turn on the blower fan and listen/feel for the click in the HTR relay, which is next to the P point relay.

You think you could find a pic of it by chance just so i can see where i need to unscrew or what i need to unclip in order to reach it?

I searched google.com for pic but only came up with the one you linked. Its not visible by just removing the glove box and looking around in there so i guess it would have to be under one of the many plastic boxes down there.
