Where is the AC Low Port value on a 2005 ?

Where is the AC Low Port value on a 2005 ?

i dont think my AC needs to be recharged but i would like to check it anyways

i have done AC recharges before, i recommend not doing it alone for the first time.
the first time i did it, i disconnected the can before it was completely empty----the
can froze on my hands, the can sprayed green stuff all around, the can wanted to
launch itself into space--ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

The low side is the line that is very cold when the AC has been running for a while. It is on the left side. The high and low side have different valve fittings, so if you try to check the high side pressure with a low side fitting, it wont work, it is almost fool proof.

Looking down from the front of the car,where about is the low value, is it near the firewall,to the right or left of the engine?? near the battery....or is it buried near the bottom so i would have to bend down and get underneath of the car to get to it.

To the left, near the power steering fluid at the top, it will have a black plastic cap on it, but so will the high line. The line will be cold with the ac running and probably sweating. Make sure you get a can of refrigerant that comes with a gauge on it. The refrigerant will only fit the low line, so no worries with trying to get it on the high line by mistake. 25-40 psi on the low side, not higher.
