Tires for corolla

Hey guys,

Time to replace tires on my Corolla 04/LE. Which one would you recommend? I am in Gaithersburg where snow is almost non-existent (last year was an exception ). And also where do you buy them to save some cash? Thanks so much.

Madhu

hankook optimo h727, kumo solus KR 21, yoko avid TRZ are good and pretty cheap as far as tires go. Discount tire direct .com and tirerack are great. Sears and firestone and any other tire place should carry them. If you buy them online, check to see if the tire installer is ok with you buying them and bringing them in, sometimes they wont allow that as they do not get their markup. You will have to pay for mounting and balancing too.

+1 on DTD and Tire Rack.

Kumho makes some excellent tires for not much money.

Thanks so much I think I am going to go for Hankook Optimo as it seems to be available online at sears.com. May be it's available in their store which is just a couple of blocks away. I'll drive today and see. Thanks
