Suspension and Air Intake

Hey guys, I need to change my front brake pads soon and I've been wanting to lower my car so I figure I'll do both. I plan to put Dropzone springs on my stock shocks until they blow then I'll put Tokico shocks on (looked at KYB GR2 also but they're OEM replacement). Is this a good idea? I get mixed reviews about Dropzone (Most people say the springs are not bad but the shocks I don't know about). Anyone try or know anyone who has tried Dropzone on a Corolla?

2nd question: I also want to make some noise with my rolla. What's a thing I can add or do under the hood so it can get some more RAWR? A cold air intake system? I also heard wrapping the exhaust manifold/header with heat resistant wrap helps also. I'm new to modding cars but am very interested.

Thanks

heat wrapping the exhaust wont really get you any "rawr", but a cold air intake or short-ram intake will.

Cool. Which one do you prefer or which one is louder? Cold air intake or short intake? And if I lower my car with aftermarket springs on stock shocks/struts then will I need a camber kit?

Short ram intake will probably be louder... that's the answer i get most, and i have one on my car at the moment.. As for the camber kit.. Any drop more than 1.5" most likely will require a camber kit..

Rear camber is fixed and non-adjustable since the rear suspension is a torsion beam design.
