Battery died now security system issues?? Please Help!

Hey guys
My battery died the other day from the lights being left on and got it jumped off. Now the car has a mind of its own. The car will not start unless the battery is disconetted and hooked back up and once it does start the door locks go crazy, locking and unlocking over and over. The dash lights will click on and off repeatedly. Im thinking the security system is messed up or something. Everytime i go somewhere and go to leave i have to go under the hood either disconnect the battery or unplug the wires in the fuse pannel under the hood, hook it back up and the car will start. But i dont want to take it to the dealer and spend hundreds so anything you got will be helpfull. Please Help!!!

When the car starts, does the check engine light illuminate? Was it jumped correctly?

No the check engine light is not on. And i really couldnt tell you if it was jumped the right way because my mom and gf were using the car when it happend. But from what they say, it sounds like the guy new what he was doing.
