A few 2006 maintenance questions!

Next week I intend to service my daughter's 06 Corolla. It (and it's owner's manual) is not at this location so I've been doing a lot of searching without definite answers. Does the 06 auto tranny use the ATF WS? Does it definitely have iridium plugs, thus not needing changed before at least 1xx,xxx miles? Thank You!

Your car definately has iridium plugs, they are good for 120,000 miles.
As far as the trans fluid goes I believe you need Type-IV fluid. The information I found out in the field seems to be contradictory, my owner's manual and dipstick on my 2005 calls for type IV and thats what I've been using, Alldata and mitchell say to use World Standard (WS) Automatic Transmission Fluid. I'm sticking to what my owner's manual calls for which is TYPE IV.

For 2006 Corolla

Automatic transaxle fluid

dry fill 7.3 liters (7.72 US qts)
drain and refill 3.0 liters (3.2 US qts)

use ATF type T-IV
