Copper vs. Iridium plugs

How many have used copper plugs instead of the fancy iridiums that come factory on these cars? What kind of results did you get?

I replaced the original iridium spark plugs on on this engine at 90K with NGK BKR5E-11 V-power copper plugs and the results have been excellent so far. It has more power in the higher RPM range with the copper plugs; however, I know they will wear out in 1/3rd of the time of an iridium plug; nevertheless, these plugs are incredibly easy to change on this engine so I don't mind that.

Wanting to know if anyone else has had experience with the same. Thanks.

How has your mpg been with the change? I run the v-powers in my muscle car and like them quite a bit.

They have not been in a full tank yet, but am hopeful they hold or improve fuel economy. How about you?

Copper is a better conductor of electricity than iridium. Iridium lasts 30 times longer and cost 4x's as much. I use Copper NGK's since I'm running extra boost, even though I have to change them every 3600-4k miles.
I like them better perfomance wise.
