I'd get the Camry since it's a larger and more comfortable car.

Depends on your intended use of either vehicle. Me, I have an '03 Corolla and It's nice for just me and occasionally the wife to run around town or the occasional road trip. Since I have a kid on the way in November, I would probably reconsider and choose the Camry for the added legroom and ease of getting baby seats and the like in and out of the back seat.

Weigh all your options.

Both are reliable vehicles. It depends on what size car you need. The Camry seems a bit too high on the price, I looked it up on KBB.com and a 1998 camry LE IN excellent 2.2L 4-cyl eng with 54000 miles is worth about 5500.00 private party value. Keep in mind if you go with the Camry I would replace the timing belt, even though the mileage is low the rubber might start to crack over time as the car is already 12 years old. Just my thoughts, good luck!!!

thanks

thanks to all of you who responded for me....I did buy the camray, went back to compare rides and fell in love with the car all over again.
Its going in for safety and e test this weekend. Insurance is even cheaper than my echo. It seems a little overpriced but for a reliable vehicle that is worth way more to me.
will keep the timing belt in mind and may check before i go for any long distance ride.
thanks again to all for all your help
