Cheap handling improvements?

I have a 2007 Corolla and it understeers like crazy and seems like it has a lot of body roll. I know it is a bargain priced car, and definitely isn't marketed as a performance or sport car in any way, but I'd like to improve the handling if I can without going broke.

Are there any fairly cheap modifications that can be done to this car that will help the car handle better? Simple things like rear sway bar, or something like that?

An upgraded rear sway definately helps the understeer. As for cheap- that limits your options. I installed some Bilsteins up front- definately helped cut the body roll, but not very cheap- even doing it yourself.

I found the TRD website after I posted this, and there aren't really a lot of things offered; just sway bars, strut braces, and lowering springs. I think that the sway bar is probably as far as my budget would allow me to go, anyhow, so it doesn't really matter what else is available.

Has anybody installed one of the TRD rear sway bars on their Corolla? What was your impression after the install? Worth the time and money?

I also noticed that they sell superchargers for Corollas, but stop offering them at model year 2004. How fun it would be to have one for my 2007!

I have the TRD rear sway bar for my 2004. For the cost and easy install- definately worth it.

check this site out... it's cheaper then TRD and works just as well...
the FSB might be designed for Right Hand Drive cars only... just double check that.. but all the other 'rear' bars should be fine with your car

it's from the Canadian site... i couldnt find it on the USA site...
