07 Corolla AT won't shift gears

Hey gang,
We are experiencing a problem with our 2007 Corolla and the automatic transmission. Last night while driving, we noticed that the car quit shifting gears. We made it to our destination and after allowing the car to sit for a while we left and noticed the problem still existed. While driving the car quit driving and I had to pull off to the side of the road. From that point on I could put the car in park, neutral, reverse, and drive but I was unable to drive at all. Anyone know what the possible problem(s) could be?

Thanks,

Amp

Sounds like a PCM (Power Train Control Module) issue. These are a fairly common issue for the 05-08 Corollas with AT trans. Toyota has even issued a recall regarding the pcm, check with your local Toyota dealer as you may have a free repair coming.

Probably the ecu. If there is no check engine light on, disconnect the battery for 1 hr if possible and then reconnect it and try it. If that doesn't work you will have to be towed.
