Need Help- Program Key Fob for 2008 Corolla

Hi guys, So i bought a key fob from a seller on ebay. And it included instructions on how to add the key fob myself, without taking it into the dealer. From everything i've read online the instructions are correct. But i'm still having trouble getting the car to go into "add mode" to add the key fob. I go through all the steps, but the car never locks and unlocks to confirm its in add mode. Please help!

Is your Corolla a LE, CE, or S model?

I ran into the same issue trying to help a coworker with a 2005 CE Corolla. The CE model does not have a keyless module onboard like the LE and the S. He ended getting a keyless entry system installed at a local car stereo shop.

Well it would have been nice if the Owners Manual would have mentioned that. At least the key fob was only $15... Thanks for the info.
