06 LE From Auto to Manual

This is my first post so hello everyone. I am young (not high school young) and do not know much about cars but I am learning.

I have a 2006 Corolla LE that I bought new years ago. It recently just hit 162k miles on it and althought I know it has plenty of life left in it this has made me think of something I have been wanting to do.

Is it possible to make my LE manual? If so, how much am i really looking to pay?

Anything is possible in the automotive world with enough time, money, energy, and modifications. A 5 speed swap is no easy task but it is very doable.

As I figured. I will rephrase the question then. Would it be worth it to do it? Or would it be more efficient to simple buy a whole new engine? Or just to look at another car in the near future?

It depends on how you feel about the car. If it's something you want to keep for a long time and mod it how you want, then go for it. If it's not something you're totally in love with and want to pour all that energy in it, then just buy a different car. People thought I was nuts for modding my old Sunfire the way I did, but it was my baby and I wanted to.
