Meet my new baby! An informal introduction

Well this morning I walked out of my house to find this waiting for me! Needless to say it's been a very Merry Christmas!

She's a 2007 with quite a few miles, but she mine and that's all that matters. <3 So here's just a quick little intro of myself. I go to the University of Central Florida, majoring in IT. So besides cars I'm a huge computer nerd, feel free to talk geek with me at any time! I just came from a 93 Lexus ES300, which literally couldn't be counted on to take me anywhere (looked good, major POS). Here's her at her peak:

She will be missed but its out with the old and in with the new.

So my first major question is, Where do you guys buy your aftermarket parts? I'm not looking for mesh grills or neon underglow, I want the good stuff. And if you guys have any recommendations I'd love to hear em. Thanks all!

Very surprised to hear about your ES300. I mean, Lexus especially from the early 90s is what built Lexus' reputation for quality and bullet proof reliability. No??

Yes. But after all the years, wear and tear is inevitable. Good news was the 3vz-fe outlived everything, still running on original head gasket. And the body tolerances are still (mostly) tight. But the car is so financially upside down its a money pit.

Plus, the gas mileage makes me want to cry.

I got a great deal on my DC STB on eBay, and I got my intake from Cosmo Racing. As mentioned MWR has a great selection of parts for the 1ZZFE. Racing Solution has good prices and some good parts available, too. We Sell Car Parts has a bit, and since you're in the continental US, free shipping. All of those places should get you well on your way.

I love the wheels you had on that Lexus, btw.
