HELP P0751 code, No reverse

I am needing help, my sons 07 Corolla w/54k miles just stopped moving when in reverse and when you put it in Neutral you can not move it. I had to jack the car up in the front and push it out garage. It does move in forward but does make some noise.
The check engine light was on and code 0751 came up twice.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Just to add alittle other information, prior to this happening he didn'y have a passing gear or it would not downshift when you tried to pass a car on the highway.

Sounds like you need a new solenoid. That code rarely comes up, so not too much info on it besides this: http://2zzge.com/library/Corolla%202...lenoid%20A.pdf

Good thing you are still under the powertrain warranty, although I would not drive the car anywhere.
