I think i have a solution for the low voltage situation when running drls. I have it working now, but after a week or so i will post an update. But im curious, are the people that are doing the HID kits just plugging into the factory harness or are you installing a HD harness too? On all my vehicles i did the hd harness on all of my lights to get the most out of my lights, and thats allowing me to fix the low voltage problem w/ the drls w/o cutting into the factory harness.

From what I know, there are 2 ways to have DRL with HIDs. You can either use one of these http://www.dxhid.com/apps/webstore/products/show/435479, or you can follow the link in the message i sent. When I set my HIDs up, I plugged it into the factory harness. Its easier with stock headlights but I have the 2nd gen halo projectors but its not that much more work. Good luck with your install.
