USA new computer-check engine light won't reset

Hi
Iam new to the forum, very useful info. I have question about my 2006 corolla le. I had a new computer installed per the recall. The check engine light was on when my wife brought it home. The dealer told her there was something else wrong and for eighty dollars they would scan it. I tried disconnecting the battery to reset code and it would not reset. ( I have done this before and it worked. I also took it to autozone and they could not reset it. It gave them a code of p0630. Any ideas as to the problem? Thanks

DTC P0630 is set when the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is not stored in the Engine Control Module
(ECM) or the input VIN is not accurate. Input the VIN with an intelligent tester
The dealer didnt set the vin in the ecm
take it back to the dealer and tell them to finish the job

They will wave the $80 once they see that it was their fault.
