Help can't start my corolla

Hi All,
I'm new here, say hello to everyone.

Here is my problem:
My 2004 Corolla hasn't been run for about a month. After I got home, I can't start it. Then I used a battery of a friend of mine to try to jump start it. But it failed. Then, weird things started happening. It alarms anti-theft alarm every time, I try to do something to it.

Then I checked the battery condition, it seems that it's clear....
Should I tow it to a mechanic or Toyota dealer, or change the battery by myself?

I bought a new battery, it still couldn't be started and the alarm wasn't solved.

I tried another remote control when I bought this car. Then....it works...no alarm any longer....

Well that sucks about the battery, how old was it?

I bought it from a person who bought it from a dealer and only used it for 2 years...
obviously, the battery is larger than 2 years..
