Convert 03 Corolla CE from no power to Power

I am trying to covnert an 04 Corolla CE that has no power features (except for mirrors) to power locks and power windows.

If possible, I would like to get ahold of the door panels with the fobs on them, not necessary but a preference.

Any idea of the best bet to go about this or even a place to have this done?

I am in the New York City Area.

Thank you in advance.

Converting requires new door regulator assemblies for the doors, new power locks, new door controls, and the associated wiring to connect it all together. The cost for parts and labor would be quite expensive.

It's cheaper to sell the car and buy a similar one with power windows and doors.

Go AfterMarket. Spal makes kits that should work very nicely. Just picked up a 2007 CE w/5000 miles, and I plan to add Power Windows and Door Locks, with a Remote Start/Alarm unit as soon as the weather allows.

Correct. I guess aftermarket is the way to go with this. I know if I were to go OEM it would add up.

Infact, I even know a few people who had the aftermarkets installed in Kias and Hyundais and no complaints.

However, if I go with the aftermarket, could the OEM switches be used on the doors?

Also, any recommendation on where to have this done in New York City? Would any typical car alarm/car audio shop be able to install this?

I don't believe you can hook up to the factory switches. I know on my 07 the area on the door/armrest where the factory switches go is wide open to install the aftermarket switches.

Ok, this is what I wanted to check on.

Will most auto alarm/car stereo shops install an aftermarket set like this?

Yes, most aftermarket sunroof/stereo shops should be able to do this no problem.
