Can't Unlock Passenger Door

Hi, I have a problem with my wife's 2003 Corolla.

The front passenger door will not unlock either using the remote OR using the interior switch.

I'm pretty sure this is down to wiring or maybe a bad actuator, however since I can't unlock the door how do I get the door panel off to take a look?

Has anyone experienced and overcome this problem?

BTW, I searched through old threads and found lots about similar problems but they all seemed to be about drivers doors which can be unlocked manually with a key.

Could it possibly be a frozen lock? That's what it sounds like, but also the wiring harness could have undid itself. You might be able to try popping off the handle plastic pieces. To do so, you need to pop off the plastic pieces that the switches are under by prying them with a flathead. After you do that, you should be able to look down under there and see if anything is unhooked.

I'm not sure but I think they have a child proof door lock somewhere on the passenger doors, It happened to me once only on the rear door but I can't remember what I did to unlock it but it's a little switch...That might be it, I would look in a manual or call Toyota to find out...Good luck
