leaking around sunroof controls

I have a 2005 Corolla S with a sunroof. Does anyone ever have leaking around the controls for the sunroof? It seems like its completely random, but it leaks pretty heavily. I'm assuming its coming from the seal around the sunroof and leeching down. I don't want to run into electrical problems and I've already brought it to Toyota. They couldn't do anything without actually seeing what happens. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Thanks.

Yes mine does it too. It also does it randomly. Sometimes at the car wash when I use the hi pressure hose. Or it does it from melting snow on top of the roof. Might be the drain hoses clogged inside the sunroof but don't count on it. This series of corolla's are plaged by defects. This is my last corolla. These cars should not have these issue at only a few years only.

Thumbs down 05 sport leaky sunroof

My 05 corolla sport also has a leaky sunroof, the header gets soaked, leaks through the control panel , now leaks by the passenger door and roof and hard plastic part by front windsheild
Had to dealership 3 times, first time they cleaned the drains 4 of them, second time cleaned drains, third time was told needed a new sunroof even though the seal was fine no cracks or tears.
Took to several mechanic shops wont touch it they say manufactures defect, finally found a shop that actually looked at it and showed me, manufactures defects....drain channels to shallow and water pools and spills over to control panels, and also missing black rubber peice at the end of one of the tracks and had rubber silicone at the end of the other track also could see the header through where the silicone was NOT GOOD. One side has the rubber, other does not.
Took to different Toyota dealership was told same thing these have a defect, took back to my original dealership was told they never heard of a defect but would look at it again and I would possibly have to purchase new sunroof. No guarantee that it would stop the leak.
