Buzzing, remains after new tires

I was told I waited too long to rotate my tires, and the rear tires had cupping. The result was a thumping that evolved to a buzzing that was directly related to the speed of the car, not the engine revs (manual transmission.) I replace the tires today, but the speed related buzzing remains. I hate to think it is the front axles, but....
The other part of the puzzle is that a few months back a driver (not me) hit a curb and busted one of the front aluminum alloy wheels. I replaced the wheel.

Any ideas on the buzzing/hum?

Was it the front right wheel? Does it sound louder when turning left at higher speeds? How many miles are on your original bearings? You can check for increasing excess free play in the bearing with front end jacked up.

Could be your wheel bearing or a hanging break shoe, I replaced my drivers side rear bearing at 70K, I had no problems other then a humming buzzing sound that slowly got louder, I know many other Corolla owners had this same problem, jack the car up and spin the tire to see where the noise is coming from or certain car repair shops will do this for you free but will pressure you to have it repaired there $$$ Autozone has it for $90 but if you look around especially on line you can get it cheaper, taking in off isn't hard unless it's frozen in there like mine was...Good Luck

When you post try to give more info about your car, model/year/miles
etc. and any other things that can be helpful

The car is a 2005 S, with manual transmission. It has 85k miles.

I do not detect any change in the sound when I turn. The type of road surface does seem to make a big difference. That is what made me believe it was the tires.

I will jack it up today and try the suggestion from Raddman04.

Wasn't it the front right wheel that was damaged from hitting a curb?

With the car up off the ground, spinning the right wheel, all was smooth. But spinning the left wheel, and holding on to the suspension spring, there was a very rough, grating feel. I had it confirmed by a mechanic too. Bad bearings.

Does anyone know if pre-assembled knuckles (with bearings already pressed in) are available for the front?

Invader, thank you for the quick reply.

Does this part have the bearings already installed?

I don't think so, no. The hub would also already have to be pressed in the bearing. Bearing and hub together are worth as much as the knuckle... I always remove the knuckle to have a new bearing pressed in.

I'm using Timken bearings, made in Japan by Koyo like the originals:
