Corolla 2005 with bad noise and vibration

Hello, I have 2005 corolla with 97k on it still under extended warranty, my problem is when the car move from stop i feel sound in the engine area and feel little vibration under the floor of the car. the dealer check the car and found no clear reason of that problem also other reliable mechanic check the car and say the same thing.both said that it is not an engine problem and it just appear in drive not reverse. the dealer changed the engine mount and it not solve the problem. the other mechanic said that the change kit between the engine and exhaust might solve the problem. i am confuse cause the dealer already charge me 2 hour and he asked for extra 3 diagnostic hour with no guarantee . which will be total of 500 dollar . what you think the cause of that problem.

So what good is the extended warranty for? Can you jack the car and check your heat shields above the exhaust catalytic converters? Try tugging and shaking your exhaust to see if it hits anywhere and to check for free play at the manifold flange gasket (donut).
Fel-Pro # 61106 is a good exhaust manifold flange gasket upgrade with its solid soft metal core where the OEM tends to burn out.

have you had the ecm recall done? also check your pass side motor mount. ive seen problems with these and think theres a tsb out for it. from what youve said i cant see it being a exhaust mani gasket problem or any other exhaust gasket. those problems are usually apparent.

If you think you do have a problem with it then i would take it back to your mechanic. but i will say these corollas love to vibrate. I remember driving them brand new and feeling them vibrate more than any other toyota. i think the 1zz motors are poorly balanced and the mounts could be a bit more forgiving.

Thanks all of you,

Regarding that the exhaust hit some thing or freely play i believe is not because the mechanical check it and don't found any evidence except that the connection between the exhaust and engine leak little.

dealer extended warranty i feel it is kind of scam cause they charge me too much for diagnostic fee which is not fair in cause if that the part causing the problem is under warranty. so i pay for there faulty production with poor design.
