USA Toyota Corolla 2003 Rotor

Hi, my name is Will. Actually I owned 3 different models of Toyota. One of them is Corolla needs to be repaired. I would like to replace the front rotors on Corolla 2003 installed with steel wheels. It is a Rotor that installed with the hub nut. How do I remove it from Hub? Any idea what size of hub nut?
I would be very much appreciated if you can let me know how can I replace it. Thank you.

You take your the brake caliper off by removing the two bolts holding it from the rear and it slides right off your lug bolts

Thank you for the replied.
I did took out the brake caliper off by removing the two bolts holding it from the rear and I still couldn't remove the rotor. I tried hammer on the rotor and found out it installed with the hub nut. It is not like regular rotor just slides in and out. It tighten on the hub. Any idea!! If I have to remove from the hub can you let me know what size of the socket? Thank you.

I think you're confusing your front axle hub assembly with your rotor it might look like it's all one piece but the rotor hole slips over that flange on the hub assembly, it might be froze on, it would be better if you had a picture of it, I never took that nut off and my manual only gives a part number, but my guess is it might be a 23 mm..Just keep trying a fit from 19mm up till you get the right socket!

So you just want to replace your front brake rotors? No need to remove the axle nut. Your rotors are rusted on tight. I just broke the rotors loose by whacking them hard near the outer edge with the end of a 2X4 wood stud, or with a heavy sledge hammer.
Applying some high-heat anti-seize compound to your new rotors' seating surface on the back will prevent them from getting stuck on again.

You'll find that they're ridiculously hard to break loose... Don't be afraid to get in a rage and use well applied brutal force. Set your wheels straight, and let it sit against the steering lock with ignition key removed. You can also try rotating rotor 1/3 turn after trying for a while to hit it on different portions to work it loose. Hit it as close to the outer edge as possible. Locking the steering at a slightly turned position might give you a better angle.

There are 2 bolt holes on the raised hat portion of your rotors. These are located between the wheel stud holes. You will need 2, 8 x 1.25mm bolts that are screwed into these holes. As they are tightened the bolts will push against the hub and the rotor will come free!

Will319's 2003, my 2004 and bro's 2005 Corolla don't have those threaded M8 x 1.25 bores on original front brake rotors.

Would this procedure work instead?

Very nice method, yes. It is important to gradually tighten both sequentially to even out the load. Cool video..
