Interior lights for Corolla 2005

Hi, I have a 2005 corolla CE model. I would like to add more interior lights like, foot lights or front dome light. Do we get any such lights that can stick (not screwed) and dont require any electrical work? I am a new bie, please advice.

Thanks

Since you don't want to do any electrical work you'll have to find some battery powered lights. There are lots of smaller battery powered lights on the market the rub is mounting them and how to activate them once mounted in the footwell or elsewhere in the car. You could probably use some Velco glue/stick down fasteners to fasten the battery powered light where you want it.

There is a thread in the 10 Gen forum where guy wired in LED footwell lights into his Corolla.

Another option which may involve some electrical work (if the power is supplied to the Rear View Mirror mount) is to use a Corolla Rear View Mirror with embedded lights (my 05 Corolla LE came stock with a rear view mirror with map lights). It gives a nice amount of light into the cabin right under the Rear View Mirror. You may be able to find the mirror/lights in a junk yard for low cost or online for around $30 to $40. Probably not that hard to install since it appears the Corolla Rear View Mirrors are glued onto the front window.
