tire recommendation please!!!

i have an 03 corolla with trd lowering springs, bilstein struts/shocks, 215/50/17 matrix trd wheels and 30% left on goodyear eagle f1 ultra performance all season tires. the tires are loud and harsh especially on highway. got recommended michelin primacy and nokian entyre - basically grand touring tires. looking for a balance between performance and comfort - what would work best on my corolla with the current suspension and wheel size???

I had good luck with Falken ZE512 and the ZE912. Both are available in your size and are great tires for the price IMO. They balanced better than the Bridgestone Pole Position I had before.

I just installed Continental ExtremeContact DW max performance tires last week on my XRS (had many different brands in the past: Michelin Pilot Primacy (stock XRS tires), Kumho ASX ECSTA, Bridgestone Potenza etc.) . I am still breaking in the tires for 500 miles.

They are just unbelievable tires. I have never experienced anything like this. The grip and tire wall stiffness are phenomenal. The handling works extremely well with my XRS suspension. I was easily hitting over 56 mph on a tight and long fly-over merging turn and the front end grips like no other tire I have experienced.

Look for my detailed review in the next week or so on these tires.

i ended up selling the 215/50/17 eagle f1 and installed hercules raptis vr1 215/55/17 for a smoother ride. they fill the wheel wells nicely.
