Help!

Hey guys,

I'm not sure what's up but my rear driver side is a lot lower than the rear passenger side.
I got an alignment done last week, but its back to the same issue. The perches on the coilovers are adjusted at the same height. I checked the damper setup they're both even, uhm never been in a wreck.. What could be the problem?

Help me out guys, I need to figure out what's going on, I daily drive this to work and I can't afford to get stranded in the freeway.

Oh yeah, I'm on K-sport Kontrol Pro Coilovers. Only really started noticing this after I started running spacers. I don't think the spacers really are the problem, but if you think they are, give me your analysis.

How old are the coilovers? I know some springs take some time to "set" even. Check the tire pressure too; it's a small factor but still a factor on ride height. Also, check the strut mounts. How off is the ride level of the vehicle?

Coilovers are about 5 months give or take. I checked the tire pressure they're the same. What should I check for on the strut mounts? I was thinking it could also be since my gas tank is on the driver side its causing it to droop lower. Its a good two finger gap difference, ride level is okay, hardly noticeable but it is noticeable, kinda looks broken

Just to be clear, the spacer are used on the wheels, right?

Strut mounts may collapse but rarely. You can check for excessive movement under hood at the strut bolts and jack it up to feel any play. Basically, we're ruling out bad suspension parts. After that, check the height of each spring with the car on the ground. (can be a bit of a pain) If it so happens that one side of the springs are shorter, you might have to rised that side or lower the other side with the adjuster to even it out. The fuel tank may play a factor in ride height but I never notice any change on my car with fill ups.

My tien coilovers were about one finger off when I had them all lowered all the way. From what I hear it is common. I just adjusted each side independently with a tape measure to get an even height at all four corners.

Yeah, spacers go on the hub to push the wheels farther out. Strut bolts are fine, no wobbling on any of the parts. What coilovers are you running?

So you adjusted according to ride height not the collars, right?

I have stock spring and stock. But I just when out and check my ride height; the driver side is about a figure lower than the right and I have a full tank. Maybe when the tank is near empty, the driver side will be higher. I never really notice it but I do now. Maybe your gas tank theory is right.

Technically, the coil is adjusted by the collars. But you raise the driver side and lower the passenger side a bit to even it out. As long as the handling is not compromised. I would do this when the fuel tank is half full (or half empty) to get the best result.
