weird but solved

hello . i own a corolla 1.4
today i was driving my lovely motor , when suddenly pulling away from drive i heard a squeal coming from off side drivers side
when driving with my foot down it could not be heard , but when breaking and release breaking it was loud .
i decided to prop up wheel and spin with my hands , it was a bit stiff ocmpared to opposite side wheel. i took the wheel off , wiped the dirt from brake pads , inspected the piston, put the wheel back on and no noise .
what could have coursed this squeal and tightenig of the wheel spin .

Is it spinning easily now? If it wasn't the brake pad warning tab squealing on the rotor, your wheel bearing may be dry and starting to seize up as it happened on bro's 2005.

Could be a rock chip stuck in the disk calliper.

i jaked up the wheel and rotated it , it was stiff. i remove the wheel and lifted the caliper , squeezed the piston back and put wheel back on . the wheeel was spinning fine . the slide pins on the caliper seem to be ok . i started the engine and hit the brakes . the wheel was hard to move . i am suspecting a seized piston.
if so is it an easy fix i am not a maechanic , but will try myself . i know its not a bearing because i would hear a whinning noise cheers adaz please help

A seizing bearing would most likely not be heard while turning it by hand... How worn are your brake pads?
