front brake problem i think

i need advice please . i jaked up my car the other day and tried to spin the front wheel by hand. there was a slight ressistance , so i removed the wheel and tried to diagnose the problem , the caliper pins seem to be moving freely as they should , so retracted the piston back into the bore , refitted the wheel and while the car was still jacked up hit the brakes , i span the wheel again and the same thing happened so i am thinking a seized piston .
if this is the case is it an easy fix as my car is due an mot in a few days and i would like to try and fix myself , please can anyone give me advice please
