2005 Corolla S help!

Hey everyone,

Im new to this fourm as i just came across it and it couldnt be more of a perfect time too! I have an '05 Corolla S and the problem is that the passenger side door lock wont open or lock with the remote. I can however open it manually with the key but sometimes its a pain (espically when its raining cats and dogs outside and dont wanna get shoaked ) I;m thinking its the actuator or something but i have no experience with this so I'm not going to say I'm certain. Can anyone advise me what the issue may be? And if its noting serious, i wanted to do it myself. Can anyone help? Much appreciated

Hey man,

Perhaps your door control receiver has gone south? Not being able to open or close your passenger side door (unless you do it manually) leads me to conclude that the door control receiver may be bad. I'm not sure if replacing it is a difficult job to perform yourself though so hopefully others can chime in
