The 750 RPM number is for a warm idle in park, accessories off. Cold start up is definitely higher around 1700 RPM or so and then it drops. Are you trying to diagnose a problem? Vacuum leak?

The 2004 manual will work for the 05, mainly just the throttle body is different.

If you have the 2ZZ-GE XRS then it is 2000 rpm on cold start-ups when the air injection system is running. Rev limit reduced to 7000 rpm.

After the air injection system turns off automatically and car warms up, idle slowly drops down to 1000 rpm and settles there. Rev limit increases up to 8400 rpm.

You most likely have a vacuum leak at the intake manifold gasket, especially if you still have the original black one, which is visible where the manifold sits on the engine head. New revised gasket is orange, only about $8.00, and is pretty easy to replace.

2004 service manual mainly the same, apart from your drive-by-wire throttle body.
