Oil Filter

Inexpensive oil filter for 2004 corolla. Mobil 1, 5000k between changes? I have been looking at the Purolator. I have an autozone and advance in my area.

Mobil1 is expensive. Purolator (either one) will work just fine.

i usually wait for a sale at advance, they'll typically have 5 quarts of full synthetic and a good filter for around 30 bucks. last few changes have been Castrol Edge 5qts with a K&N filter. other times they've come with purolators or mobil 1 filters, they're all good. I just don't use FRAMs, I hear bad things, I've never had a problem with the few times I used one but I'd rather not risk it if I can avoid it.

I also use Mobile 1 and do 5k changes. I use a supertech filter from good old wally world. 80,000 miles later, no problems.
