Changing Door Locks and Maybe Ignition Cylinder

My girlfriend has an 05 Corolla and her spare key disappeared about a year ago and now it appears the car is being used when were not home. Was wondering how hard it would be to change the door lock cylinders with either junk yard parts or dealer items and if would be easily possible to change the ignition lock cylinder also so all the keys would be the same. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Best bet is to get a lock cylinder key set but the iginition key will still have to be programmed by a locksmith or dealer.

x2 on what TOYOPARTSMAN said. You'll have to get a new key programmed by the dealer, as the key has a chip embedded in the head. I have lost a key for my car and had no luck with lock smiths in my area, they all referred me to the local dealer.

You could technically replace all the door/trunk cylinders and leave the ignition key the same. It would keep anyone from getting into the car...

You'd have to carry two keys, though.
