Which bridgestone tire is best for 2004 Toyota Corolla S ? I am looking for quite ride (not noisy tires). Please suggest the tire which is quite and good for winter (is coming soon), rainy, all seasons
Right now I am using BF Goodrich and I hear lot of noice while driving.
I just have the Michelin - X® Radial all season from Costco installed, and it has the factory M+S rating, means muddy and snowy conditions. Besides my pulling problem when get up to high speed (in another post, I might have a lemon), I think they are great tires, quite on city road and excellent grip with 80,000 miles guarantee, although these are all subjective and relative terms since everyone is different.

Just a suggestion you might want to try Hankook Opitmo H727 all season #1 top rated tire on Tire Rack and the price is right $74 for your size(195-65-15)mine too! Right now I have 40K on the second rated tire Pirelli P4 Four seasons, I think I paid $64 for them and I never had any problems in any weather and I lived in Ohio before moving down to Florida a few months ago, they grip like hell in snow, ice, rain and they way they prevent hydroplaning is amazing...Still for my next tire I'm going to try the Hankook H727...Why pay for an over priced Michelin tire $100+ when you can get a great all around tire just as good for our Corolla driving purposes at close to half the price And the Optimo H727 is rated 100,000, my Pirelli's are 85,000 and at 40K I have 3/4's of tread left!

I'll throw in the Goodyear ComforTred Touring as my pick. Right now there is $80 rebate on 4, or $160 if you use a Goodyear card. Picked up a set at $105 each and my total installed w/ tax and after rebate is $320. I actually had the Hankook H727's on for about a week and hated them. Yes, they are quiet, but the sidewalls are so soft, the car felt very disconnected and unstable.
Check them out. They are number one in their category for survey results on tirerack and they beat the Hankook in every item I believe.

Check out the grand touring all season category...
Then select them both and choose "compare"...

Bring up all the tires for that size or car. Sort by "Reviewer's Avg Rating". The Goodyear will be on top, then the Hankook. Then check the "Compare" box for each and click "Compare Selected Tires". Only place it scored lower was "Ice Traction" at 7.7 instead of 7.9.
Now for the straight up price, it might not be worth it to some. But after rebate, they are $65/tire.
Also, I actually tried both on my '06 Corolla S and found the handling to be much better with the Goodyear ones. The ride is slightly less soft which some may not like, but the Hankook ones were just scary at higher speed maneuvers. And even low speed just plain felt disconnected.
Hope this helps someone...

H727 are still rated #1 in the standard touring category and I'm just driving a $18k Corolla and they should work just fine regardless of one persons opinion anyway I'm not driving on the H727 I'm just thinking about them!... Your Goodyear tire looks like a great tire too by the reviews but still it only has 740K review miles compared to some other tires on there that have almost 60 million, your tires ratings could change!...As far as the price no doubt you got a great deal, I wonder why...But how many people have a Goodyear credit card just to save $80 on a tire, my CEL came on and a Goodyear auto repair here told me it was my cat and said it would cost $1400, I put an $60 rear oxygen sensor in two years ago, light went out in 2 days and saved myself $1340... I never liked the Goodyear brand ever since Toyota stuck me with the dreaded Integrity tire as my OEM when I bought the car, it was the worst tires I have ever owned, I think it had to be replaced at 19K cause there was no tread left! Good luck with your Goodyear tires, I'll just keep driving on the ones I like...I hope this help someone
If you just want to buy a set of tires from Costco, I really think Michelin X Radial is decent choice. They have been around for long time, you won't find a lot of information from Tire Rack because they are only sold through wholesalers like Costco and Sam's club, and here are some reviews:
When I was there last week in Missoula, MT, they were $70 off the regular price ($109 each). I am sure you will get the same price even you are in couple days later than the promotion. Costco is good on this kind of things. It is a great deal for me because I am from Canada. The same tire is sold in Canada for $145 each. My tires actually made in Canada... talk about fXXXed up marketing and corporate money grabbing...
