2007 Corolla Oil Leak, not near the Filter or Pan

Hi, I just changed the oil in my 2007 Corolla today and noticed a few drips coming underneath the car - not near the oil filter or oil pan. It's further up the car, closer to the middle. Not being an expert, I'm not exactly sure what the part is coming from. Hoping someone can comment on the image I've linked to . It seems to be leaking from here. You can see a light yellow color in the middle seam.

possibly gear oil. my trans (6 speed) is leaking gear oil too, thought it was coming from the drain plug so I replaced drain plug gasket and put thread sealer on it, still leaks. found it's coming from driver's side axle seal, ordered a new seal from toyota a few days ago, around 20 bucks!, gonna be a PITA putting a new seal in.

I have a 2007 and had this same leak....hmmmmm. Ended up being the dipstick seal. New seal costs about 30 cents at the dealer. I hate leaks.

It looks like only part of the inner CV joint boot has oil on it... It is easy to spill new engine oil as you're pouring it in, which would channel down to that area. It does also look like new engine oil.
