2007 Toyota Corolla S electrical issues

Please help me!!!

I have a 2007 Corolla S that i was experiancing some overheating issues with. At first i thought a coolant flush and thermostat change were in order, but then i realized that the cooling fan wouldn't kick on at all. First thing was we hooked a 12v battery to the fan, and it worked perfectly. So the fan is good....replaced the relay in the fuse box, still nothing. We then replaced the coolant tempature sensor and did a complete coolant flush. Still the fan would not kick on (even with the ac on, they thermostat opened and the car was starting to overheat.) Then dashlights started coming on...The Abs, brake light, TPMS, CEL, all came on and the spedometor stopped working. Im really at a loss...i dont know what to do, this sound like its going to get expensive quick, and i frankly do not have the money to fix this...can anyone help point me in the right direction and give me an idea of how much money this is going to take so i can work on getting it together. im worried sick over this, and Ive reached my breaking point with this car.

Did you get the ECU recall notice?

i have, but have yet to get a time to bring it in. I was reading about the syptoms of a bad ecu and they dont match this. I did notice that all of the warning lights and such that im getting are all next to each other in the relay box. Could this mean i need to replace all those relays?

It could be an ECU issue as the ECU controls the rad fan relay. My hunch would be a wiring issue or for some reason the ECU is not commanding the fan relay on. I would try to get the recall done soon so you can rule the ECU out of the equation. Who knows, you may get lucky and the new ECU will fix your issue.
