06 Corolla brake drums STUCK

I'm trying to remove my 06 Corolla brake drums (first rear brake change on this corolla, bought it new) but they won't budge. The parking brake is off, the drum spins freely, I tried using the two 8 mm 1.25 bolts but they stripped right away (barely a quater of a turn.) I try using the adjuster in the rear but, can't seem to figure out how to use it. I have banged on them, used a pry bar but no luck. Any suggestions please.

Also can anyone please send me a copy of the repair manual.

Thanks in Advance.

Eduardo

Rear brakes last a very long time, I would be surprised if they have to be changed already.

Thumbs up

The 2 bolts did the trick, I was using fine thread bolts thus why it didn't work the first time, and yes the rear brakes do last a looong time, I have 98,000 and my rear brakes do not need replacing anytime soon.

Thank you for your input
