2003 Suspension
I've been noticing a bit of what I assume to be suspension-related issues over the past few weeks and I'm trying to find out what is most likely at fault and whether I can fix them myself:
At freeway speeds (depending on pavement quality), the ride is relatively bouncy.
In town, driving over railroad crossings, speed bumps, dips in intersections, etc. causes a creaking noise in either front wheel areas, as well as an occasional thumping sound.
I was thinking stabilizer bar bushings, but I'm not entirely sure I shouldn't be looking at shocks as well.
115,000 miles. Tires are good and religiously rotated in addition to regular alignments (Firestone Lifetime Alignment, FTW).
Anyone have any good ideas?
