4ZZ-FE engine intermittently stalls while idling (150000 km)

Hi guys,

A 2003 Corolla with 4ZZ-FE engine (with 150000 kms in it) totally intermittently stalls while it is idling.
No error code, nothing that would give me a clue. It it wasn't Toyota I'd think that the valves are dancing in the valve guides.
Any idea?

And I forgot to mention one more thing: I did a compression test on the engine on a Monday morning (the car was in the garage during Saturday and Sunday), the shocking result was, that at the first time, the compression of the 1st cylinder was ZERO for about 5 second cranking. The compression of the other 3 cylinders were fine, even the 1st one as fine the 2nd time.

Have your MAF sensor checked (mass airflow sensor). That could be one reason why the car is stalling.
