FIX!!! Low Idle/Reverse Shake

Guys,

You knwo what I mean. Car is started and it shakes like the dickens but when you get over 1k rpm she runs fine. Reverse.. sometimes she stalls aftre the shakes. Your low on freon.

I know your like WTF? NEWBIE!!

Seriously I didnt believe it when I did it. I have done all the same stuff as you fellas. Clean the tb, iac, mas/map, I even pulled the fuel pump and cleaned the screen on the bottom (yes the in-the-tank one)
All of this.... nothing!!!!

Then my wife said she was hot and wanted coldere air.. I know right?! So I had a can of R134a Stop Leak in the garage, started putting in in and was shocked!! The shakes went away! Not believeing it I killed it, started back up... no issue!!

I even drove around the block in reverse at idle pull me speed.... no stalling or shakes. Absolutley Amazing!!

So for all you guys facing the same issue.... try a can of freon.

I don't quite understand. So you put that stuff in the fuel tank??

You might be running very low Octane fuel and this was resulting in ECU pulling ignition timing.

Nope. Just added a can of freon to the a/c. (Input on the low side port)
That's it. Crazy huh?

Were you leaking freon into the intake and that was causing the idle problems? What the hell, strange things happen. At least you got your problems fixed and at the end of the day...thats all that matters.

I decided to give this a go because my ac wasn't that cold anyways ( I live in Florida). It definitely did not fix my low idle/reverse shake symptoms.

I didn't stop here. I also went a step further with installing a CAI from Weapon-R, replaced the serp belt with the goodyear gatorback, denso plugs, and some HID's. Course I also cleared the computer after I did the CAI since that was giving me grief. But my shakes were cured before I did this, but now my car drives better than new.
