Lowering Springs

what setup is best for daily driving? im leaning towards s-stechs but im not sure what shocks would go best with it. would tokico hp blues be a good choice with s-techs? i also wanna keep it around $500. i just want a nice clean looking drop and plan on getting some 17in rims later. i would like a nice comfy ride, not to bouncy, not too stiff, not too soft either, basically something that can be driven daily as stated earlier. i really like the clean drop look like Adams corolla up there! anyone care to shed some light would be cool.

S-Techs are super soft and have been known to rub with people. IIRC they may be slighter stiffer than factory.

Go with H&R sports and Tokiko Blues. Everything you need.

H&R Race Springs are still comfortable and good if you want something that lowers more than the H&R Sports but not as much as the S-Techs.

yea the race springs looks good too! most likely gonna get the race and some blues. would i need to also get a camber kit as well?

No. My buddy had an 03 on S-Techs and we got his camber correct without an camber kit.

Did u guys do the camber urselves or did u guys have shop do the align it and fix camber?

WELL I JUST ORDERED THE H-TECH AND I HAVE THE TOKICO HTS DAMPERS TO SIT THEM ON. I WAS SOOOO IF'Y ON GETTING THE TEINS KUZ I SEE A LOT OF GOOD AND BAD REVIEWS BUT I WANTED A NICE DROP FOR THAT 4X4. AND GOING TOO LOW ON A DAILY DRIVIN CAR IS NO BUENO... I HOPE IT DONT MESS UP MY HTS DAMPERS... ILL POST B4 AND AFTER PICS WHEN ITS DONE

Ok, so here is my update.... I finally installed the Tein H tech springs on my Tokico HTD Dampers. The Dampers are AWSOME but I think the spring rate for the H Techs are a lil on the soft side. The drop is ok for me being a daily driver and on 17's. Ill have to post up pics soon. Tokico HTS are nice, but I dont recomend Tein H Tech if ur plannin on hittin some curves...

Yes, H-Techs are one of the most soft springs.

We were technicians at a dealer. I am also a self proclaimed alignment master.

Throw up a diy if possible! I would like to see if i can do this myself. Would be nice to know what to look for and try to adjust because i just lowered my rolla and the rears seem to have some negative camber.
