I got rear ended in my 2007 corolla, luckily no damage. However upon getting back in my car, I noticed the airbag light was on. Now eventually I plan on going to the dealer to have it scanned to see what the error is, and get it fixed. I know the problem lies with the passenger seat sensor, since now when someone sits there without a seatbelt, the sensor doesnt beep anymore, when i used to lean on the seat and it used to beep. Im just wondering if anyone else has had an experience dealing with fixing a seat belt sensor, or how much it cost, or just any advice whatsoever. Id love to be able to fix it myself, only pleasure I want to give the dealer is to remove the airbag light! Any and all info would be very much appreciated!

Occupant clasification code for pass seat. Should be a quick recal and be on your way.
Anymore than a .5hr check out and reset (if that's what it is) they're taking you for a ride.
